Panjiva’s Buyer Inquiry Marketplace allows you to post an inquiry so that suppliers who make the products you are interested in can reach out to you. Our Buyer Inquiries platform not only makes it easier for you to find the suppliers you need but also makes it easier to verify their shipment information through their Panjiva profile. Monitor Marítimo

The Maritime Monitor is a new offering from Panjiva, designed to help ports, logistics professionals, shipping companies and agents of international trade keep track of competitors and find new customers. Search by commodity, consignee, or SCAC code to generate a list of target companies. We provide over 12 ways to filter your results, including by port, carrier, and much more, so you can see detailed information on specific trade lanes and carrier lines. Learn more.

Tariff Tracker

Use Panjiva’s Tariff Tracker to view duty rates on imports into the U.S. For a certain HTS code, view and compare the current duties and taxes applied, according to country of export. Access Tariff Tracker in any Trendspotting report of a 10-digit HTS code. Note that Tariff Tracker integrates data from CUSTOMSinfo, a Panjiva data affiliate, and that Tariff Tracker is only accessible to Entrepreneur-level subscriptions and higher.

Projects makes it easy to collect information on suppliers, organize it, and take action. Create a shortlist of suppliers and send a product information request to all of them at once. View supplier replies in your project and send follow-up emails. Also, use Projects to organize and compare information on suppliers. Note that Projects is only accessible to Entrepreneur-level subscriptions and higher. Learn more.

Trendspotting by Unit Cost

Panjiva’s Trendspotting now tracks U.S. import and export trends by unit cost — in addition to U.S. Dollar (USD) and Kilogram (KGS). Simply select “Unit Cost” to see your report in U.S. Dollar per Kilogram. With the Unit Cost metric, you can track a product’s cost per kilogram in each country of export/import. Learn more.

Port Trends

Port Trends tracks data on 1,945 foreign ports and 872 U.S. ports. For each foreign port you can view trends of total U.S. shipments since 2007, the top 25 U.S. ports, and details of the 25 most recent shipments (date, weight, commodity, and U.S. customer). For each U.S. port you can view trends, the top 25 foreign ports, and the 25 most recent shipments. Port Trends is sourced from U.S. Customs data. Learn more.

Country Pages

Now you can see country-level Import and Export Data analysis for the entire world. For every country, see the top ports; top suppliers; total suppliers; currency information; trend graphs showing the trade relationship with the U.S.; and the top products imported to and exported from the U.S. Information for Country Pages is sourced from U.S. Customs data, U.S. Census data, and the World Bank. U.S. Export Search

Search and view ocean exports from the U.S. Enter any terms that appear on the shipment record—including bill of lading number, container number, booking location, shipper address, or vessel name—to see all matching exports.

Panjiva Messages

Want to contact an overseas Supplier? You can now send messages to Suppliers with Panjiva Messages. Simply click “Send a message to this supplier” in the Summary tab of a Supplier profile. Learn More.

Proximity Search

Need to search for suppliers by location? With the Proximity search refinement, you can find suppliers located near a city, zip code, or address. Simply type the name of the city, then adjust the search radius for the desired kilometer range. Learn More.
