Negotiations to form new trade and customs arrangements between the EU and U.K. look set to fail after a key meeting between EC President von der Leyen and U.K. Prime Minister Johnson. The two sides “remain far apart” and there will be “a decision by the end of the weekend” as to whether to proceed.
