The Chinese government has extended tariffs on U.S. chicken products for another five years. America’s farmers could do with the extra sales – exports fell for 18 straight months until a 13% increase in July on a year earlier. With $38 million in exports to Hong Kong and Taiwan, there is evidence that consumers have an appetite for the product at least.
