Lego A/S reported a 7.0% year over year increase in revenues in 2018 on a constant currency basis, reversing a similar decline seen in 2017. That’s been partly driven by improved demand as well as resolving supply chain issues, which include investments in new warehouses in Mexico. The latter has helped facilitate an expansion of demand from retailers in the U.S. despite a generally weaker year for toy sales given 93.0% of Lego’s exports from Mexico are destined for the U.S. That meant U.S. imports of Lego products, including those from Europe climbed 19.5% year over year in 2018.
