The global shipbuilding industry continued its steady recovery in September with a 3% rise in exports from China, Japan and South Korea to reach $5.5 billion. That brought the 12 month total to $76.9 billion, the highest since December 2015. South Korea’s yards led the way with a 39% rise vs. declines in China and Japan.
