The U.S. Presidential election cycle continues on March 10 with Democratic Party primaries in six states including Washington and Michigan. Washington state’s exports have seen the fastest decline in the nation in the past two years with a 21.3% drop in 2019 versus 2017 to reach $7.798 per capita. China’s led the decline with a 50.2% slump in large part due to tariffs on aerospace products. Boeing’s 737 MAX woes were also a drag.
