Container handling through China’s mainland ports continued the more-than-five year (excluding holiday timing) growth streak after expanding 8% in November vs. a year earlier. That’s being driven by the strength of Chinese trade, though the growth rate was the slowest since January this year. Shanghai was the fastest growing top 10 port with an 11% rise to reach a new record of 3.55 million TEUs.
