Shipbuilding’s renaissance continued in October. Exports from the big three exporting countries rose 18% on a year earlier to reach $5.7 billion, Panjiva analysis shows. That brought the annual total to $78 billion, the highest since November 2015. South Korean yards led with a 36% rise, while those in Japan dropped by 5% and China’s by 1%.
