The arms trade between South Korea and the U.S. could take-off if KAI / Lockheed Martin can secure a $13 billion T-50 jet trainer sale to the USAF. That would conflict with trade policy though, where the U.S. government is looking to cut its trade deficit with South Korea via the KORUS FTA renegotiation.
