Airbus’s CEO, Guillaume Faury, has stated that it is “too early to say” what the impact of a WTO ruling on EU subsidies provided to the firm will be in the longer-term. Faury has asserted that tariffs are “pernicious and could cause a slowdown”, particularly once the WTO rules on a related case regarding U.S. subsidies allegedly paid to Boeing.
