The U.S. ITC received eight new petitions to investigate antidumping, intellectual property or other cases in September. That included the largest number of antidumping requests (four) since March 2017 including filings in the metals, consumer goods and materials industries. The increase in cases isn’t a surprise given that regulatory uncertainty regarding section 301 duties against China have been resolved.
