Ammunition Imports Hit New High Ahead of Gun Control Votes

U.S. ammunition imports reached 1,892 tons in October, the highest since at least 2007, and 91% higher than a year earlier. Major shippers including Prvi Partizan (bullets), Giulio Fiocchi SpA (cartridges) and Industrial Surquillo (pellets). Imports of weapons and parts also jumped 62.5% ahead of gun control measures on four ballots.
