EsBusiness sentiment towards exports in Germany and France declined to their lowest levels since December 2016 in the most recent surveys conducted by IFO and INSEE. The German survey in particular included concerns about the impact of a so-called “hard Brexit”. So far the British government and EC have not been able to agree the terms of a customs agreement, potentially disrupting regional supply chains as soon as March 2019.
