Petitions to the U.S. ITC to launch anti-dumping reviews picked up to three cases in March from none in February. That leaves the year-to-date total 20% higher than a year earlier. Intellectual property cases were down, though that may have been in anticipation of the results of the section 301 review of China. With that review (and related tariffs) more-or-less done and the section 232 review of metals completed there may now be a pickup in new filings. Those may include a return to long-promised self-initiated filings by the Commerce Department.
