INSEE’s regular survey of French managers showed that expectations for export orders remain downbeat, though slightly less so than in October. The November reading showed a net 10% of managers expect orders to fall from 11% before. Exports have fallen in six of the past seven months. While exports to the U.S. have expanded 12% in October, Panjiva data shows this was in lower value plastics while higher value machinery and beverages declined.
