Kuehne+Nagel’s new container forwarding service, K+N Pledge, offers refunds if guaranteed service commitments aren’t met. That’s followed similar service commitments made by the container shipping lines, led by CMA-CGM’s Eagle service. It also comes as K+N has been increasingly reliant on growth from markets outside China and the EU. K+N’s seaborne imports to the U.S., where it’s the largest forwarder, grew by 6.5% year over year in 1Q 2019.
