Maersk’s new India-to-Europe cold chain service for grapes provides an example of its push into higher value-added, end-to-end logistics rather than more commoditized container-only offerings. The launch follows a 38.3% year over year drop in Indian outbound shipments of fruit in the 12 months to Nov. 30, to reach $560 million of exports.
