The proliferation of “mattress in a box” retailers since Casper’s launch in 2014 has been due to improving e-commerce platforms and the nature of unbranded product shipping. U.S. imports climbed 35% on a year earlier in the 12 months to March 31, though fell 5% in the month of March.
