The U.S. ITC has received its third anti-dumping petition of March with a complaint regarding exports of glycine from four countries including China. That’s the third chemicals/healthcare petition since January 2017, and follows the continuance of orders against a similar glycine product from China that was continued in February 2017. Imports of glycine from China climbed 44% in the three months to January 31 on a year earlier and represented 60% of the total. Imports from the other three countries also surged, with Thailand entering the market for the first time in July 2017.
