Consolidation continues in the shipbuilding industry after the creation of China Shipbuilding Group from the country’s two largest shipyard operators, CSIC and CSSC. That follows a similar deal between South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding and Hyundai Heavy. In the short-term the industry appears to be doing better.
