Total U.S. video game imports increased by 25.5% year over year in July, but fell by 18.3% when compared to the same month in 2019, when importers were stockpiling in the face of tariffs. This is likely a poor start to the holiday shipping season for retailers who hope to capitalize on some of the continued demand for entertainment products.
