Container-lines operating through Brazilian ports saw a return to growth in volumes in April, with an 11% rise in containerized freight. That has been biased towards import flows, which increased 27%. Asian shippers Evergreen and COSCO saw increases of over 160%, possibly including rearrangements in handling within new alliance structures.
