The Biden administration’s latest crackdown on the alleged use of forced labor in the Xinjiang region of China has captured chemicals and solar power firms including Hoshine Silicon Industry and a subsidiary of GCL Poly. Putting aside the politics, the impact on solar power supply chains may be minor in the near-term.
