The CBI’s latest survey of U.K. business expectations did better than expected, MarketWatch reports, yet export expectations came down a little to -10% from -6%. This may be a sign that the post-Brexit vote, weak-sterling euphoria is fading. Exports to the U.S. are still growing, by 10% in August according to Panjiva data, but the rate of growth is slowing. A realization of tough times to come may be dawning.
