Larger, higher technology TV sets are once again a major focus at the Consumer Electronics Show. These include a 146 inch screen from Samsung Electronics and a “rollable” 65 inch set from LG Electronics. This comes as the industry seeks to maintain growth – U.S. imports of sets likely fell 5% on a year earlier in 2017, while average import values (a proxy for price) rose just 1% in the 12 months to November 30.
