An 11% drop in global coffee exports has been driven in part by El Nino. This has resulted in a 7% increase in prices, somewhat lower than that seen by tea. U.S. imports for both have waned – coffee by 3% according to Panjiva data in June after 15% growth in May. Exports from Brazil fell 22% in May, and from Colombia by 9%.
