Global coffee exports climbed 7% on a year earlier in January, the third month of growth. That was the result of smaller countries offsetting a 20% drop in shipments from Brazil and 2% from Vietnam. The latter may have reversed in February according to local press. Brazil’s production remains low, but the government has suspended plans to import robusta coffee.
