South Korean steel manufacturer Dongkuk Steel has “temporarily suspended” exports to the U.S. as it works with customers on how to “share tariffs” that have resulted from President Trump’s section 232 review of the steel industry. That may include pushing for product exemptions. Dongkuk’s supplies to the U.S. of the products covered had already declined by 38% in the three months to February 28 sequentially.
