The Taiwanese shippers both experienced double-digit declines in revenues in 2Q16 vs. a year earlier, with Evergreen 3% below market expectations and Wan Hai 4%. In July though they diverged – Panjiva data shows Evergreen’s U.S.-bound shipments rose 13% vs. June, while Wan Hai dropped 23%.
