NVOCCs operating on U.S.-inbound lanes saw a fourth straight month of growth in June, with a 3% rise in volumes on a year earlier despite a 3% drop vs. May. Expeditors may be staging a fightback – it was only one of three top 10 NVOCCs that increased volumes on a month earlier. DSV saw a 0.5% drop on a year earlier in handling when adjusting for its purchase of UTi last year, while Apex saw a 5% drop on the anniversary of its purchase by Kerry.
