Electronics manufacturer Foxconn may build a U.S. factory in Wisconsin. Previous commentary from management suggest this may be a display panel facility. Strategically this will allow the company to avoid future tariffs. Panjiva data shows U.S. imports of display panels increased 7% on a year earlier in the 12 months to May 31. Chinese manufacturers have been increasing their market share, with a 28% rise in exports compared to declines for those in South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
