Mexican automotive exports had a robust year in 2018 with a 6.0% year over year growth to reach 3.45 million vehicles. Yet, the year ended on a weaker note with shipments rising by just 1.8% in the fourth quarter. General Motors saw the worst performance with a 13.7% drop while most other manufacturers saw an improvement.
