GoPro’s launch of the Karma drone is partly a reaction to the declining camera market. Panjiva data for Chinese exports shows shipments fell 19% in the three months to July. U.S. digital camera imports have been falling through 2016, though there was a 12% improvement in August ahead of the holiday shopping season.
