ZIM Shipping has moved closer to the 2M shipping alliance of Maersk and MSC in offering two new routings from China and South Korea to the U.S. gulf coast. That replaces routes previously offered by HMM (former Hyundai Merchant Marine) alongside 2M. U.S. inbound shipments for the port pairs covered climbed 29.3% year over year in the 12 months to Jun. 30 to reach over 564,000 TEUs.
