The Indian government is considering structuring a limited trade deal in Central America to help boost exports. So far trade with Central and South America has been limited, with only Brazil and Colombia (1.2% and 1.1% of total exports) counting in India’s top 20. Exports outside those two totalled $3.8 billion in the past 12 months, but have fallen by 16% on a year earlier.
