U.S. toy imports increased 5% in TEUs in December, and were a major driver of overall U.S. seaborne import growth. They outperformed imports of video-games, which fell on a disappointing performance from Sony’s PlayStation. Ben-10 and Nerf branded products fell significantly in December, by 43% and 19% respectively as consumers redirected spending to drones.
