Canadian steel and aluminum exporters may be granted another extension to talks to secure an exemption from America’s section 232 duties. That may be necessary given the risk that NAFTA negotiations stretch beyond the June 1 final deadline for such an exemption, which itself was stretched from the prior May 1 final deadline.
