President Trump has reiterated his determination to withdraw from NAFTA if an adequate deal cannot be reached. That comes as Mexico has indicated such a notice would be a red line for it to withdraw from the negotiations. At the same time the President has left the door open to a delay until after the elections in Mexico as “there’s no rush” to deal and he “would rather be able to negotiate”.
