The Canadian ambassador the U.S. has raised the prospect of adding the softwood lumber agreement as a new chapter for NAFTA. That follows a frustration with delays in reaching a deal – most recently to November 14. However, it would add another layer of complication to an already complex set of NAFTA negotiations.
