The U.S. ITC will investigate accusations of patent infringements by Nintendo’s Switch console based on its two-handed structure. The timing is curious given the product was launched a year ago, but comes as the product may be reaching commercial maturity. U.S. seaborne imports of Nintendo products fell 38% on a year earlier in the first four months of the year, despite the launch of the Labo accessory system.
