The U.S. Trade Representative received 828 further requests for exemption from section 301 duties on Chinese exports in the week to Nov. 15 from a week earlier, bringing the total to 11,221 requests in total. So far none have been approved, 3.3% are in the second-to-last stage before approval and 9.7% have been formally denied.
