Devastating floods in Peru have killed nearly 70 people and caused significant infrastructure damage. This includes rail lines outside Lima that transport semi-processed metal ores for export. Panjiva data shows exports of copper and zinc products accounted for 34% of all Peruvian exports in the past 12 months including raw ores, and had already reached their lowest since October 2012.
