Pork and Pills Key To UPS’s New Germany-Hong Kong Route Growth

Freight forwarder UPS has extended its Europe-China containerized rail service to include Hong Kong. The forwarders generally have been improving their offerings on such routes with Nippon Express, Ceva and K+N all launching or enhancing services in the past year. Rail traffic between China the the EU climbed 75% on a year earlier in the past 12 months, while Germany to Guangdong (the routing for UPS’s service) surged 96% higher.
