Streaming media firm Roku has lost part of a patent infringement lawsuit brought by United Electronics at the U.S. International Trade Commission. While ruling that older models of Roku’s remote controls did infringe, the judgement also states that newer models do not. That should limit the ongoing impact on the firm’s supply chain. U.S. seaborne imports linked to the firm nonetheless fell by 10.9% year over year in Q2’21.
