Kids’ clothing retailer Gymboree may file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy according to Bloomberg. That follows the recent failure of footwear chain Payless Shoesource citing supply chain disruption in 2015. Panjiva data shows a similar effect for Gymboree, with a 51% drop in U.S. imports in February 2015 on a year earlier representing the fallout from west coast port strikes.
