Sharp has pulled a planned $2 billion share sale citing uncertainties caused by the Trump administration’s planned duties on Chinese exports of electronics. These will be implemented in two phases, the second of which – currently under consultation – will include high tech goods though the first phase (from July 6) will also have an impact.
