The U.S. ITC has determined that America’s steel industry has been damaged by exports of mechanical-steel tubing from six countries including China. A decision on anti-subsidy duties is due by July 13. That will come shortly after the Commerce Department’s broader report on steel imports to the U.S. and may be held up as a prime example of the behavior it is looking to prevent.
