The Scotch Whisky Association warned yesterday that the U.K.’s forthcoming exit from the European Union (aka Brexit) introduces uncertainty about the future of the industry. While tariffs are likely to remain at zero under WTO rules, more complex issues such as quality regulations and labelling may change depending on the details of trade deals signed.
