Thai Trade Rebounds as Samsung Heats Up U.S.

Thailand’s exports increased for the first time since March, with a 6.5% jump in August according to official figures. This was better than expected, according to Bloomberg, and driven by U.S. exports Panjiva data shows. The leading exports of tires increased 10%, and heating-related products by 47%. The latter seems to be driven by Samsung’s supply chain.
