Thailand’s 12% export increase in June was the fourth straight increase, and well ahead of economists’ forecasts of 8%. A 19% rise in electronics exports helped, while U.S. bound exports also increased 12%, Panjiva data shows. That growth may be at risk, however. While Thailand is not a top 10 contributor to the U.S. trade deficit, its growth has been driven by home appliances exports.
